Catamaran WORKCAT 40 is a new boat produced by Remia-plast. The main purpose of the boat is working on fish farms, fish feeding, catching fish, mariculture support such as maintenance of farming nets, handling the fish cages, pushing and towing of the cages and other maritime works.
It is 12 m long and 6.8 m wide It has 2 Yanmar 6CHE3 diesel engines, each 95,6 kW power, with which it reaches speed of 8.0 kn (when 90% loaded). The catamaran can be loaded with 13 tones and it is equipped with a hybrid deck crane with a Palfinger PK15500(M)-C Hybrid winch, with maximum lifting moment of 14,6Tm, operating range of 420° and range of 12,4m. Winch capacity is 2.500 kg.
The boat can be easily converted for personal or tourist purposes. In that case we can change the type of equipment, the engine power, transport capacity (it can transport up to 50 passengers if it is for tourist purposes). Individual approach allows construction and equipping of the boat in the variant and range of equipment which suits best the customer.
